  1. Change your political mindset - walk away from the stand

Croatian political parties must change their mindset about what politics is by walking away from the stand. Political parties must be proactive and reach out and go to the people rather than wait for people to come to them.

    Stop being passive

The stand, typically used to sell products by small home run businesses, is a favorite tool of political parties in Croatia. The process is that:

  2. EU Parliament Elections - what have the present MEPs done?

We have EU MEP elections in 5 weeks, but none of the challenger parties are asking questions about the accomplishments of the present MEPs. The expected campaign strategy is to find weakness in the present representation and show how you will perform better. I do not see any of the challenger parties and candidates attacking the record of the incumbent MEPs.

The first election for EU Parliament was held on 14 April 2013 and the next on 25 May 2014. There are 25 political parties

  4. We need more women in Croatian politics

Croatia needs more prominent women in politics. Maybe one of the problems in Croatian politics is that there is not enough of the female way of doing things. The lack women can be easily noticed in the upcoming EU Parliament elections where only 35.3% of the candidates are women.

    Croatian Demographics
Women make up about 52% of the population in the 18 to 65 age bracket
and women live to be 80 while men live to be 74 - on average.

  5. How to develop a political program the voters will buy

Voters are, in simple terms, consumers that have a need to buy a service every 4 or 5 years. The service they need is representative government. The service that political parties sell to voters is a vision and plan for a better future state of the nation. The vision and plan is encapsulated in a political program. The program must align with the needs of the people and must be simple for the people to understand and vote for.

The decision making process that the political customer
