  1. The concept of a BRAND in politics



    Does the concept of a brand exist in politics?

    I say YES - because a brand is fundamentally about a set of values and a long term relationship between a company and customer. That company can provide goods or services - and the services can be political.

    I think that the concept of brand and especially brand management and brand equity might be more relevant in politics than anywhere else.

  3. "Business Learner Permit" - Stimulating youth entrepreneurship


    I propose a new class of business entity for entrepreneurs under the age of 27. The objective would be to minimize government interference and allowing young entrepreneurs to focus fully on the business. To attain a high level of business freedom will require minimalist bureaucracy and taxes.

    Croatia had voter turnout of 25% in the EU Parliamentary election!

    It appears that the objective of the "powers that be" was to create voter apathy and they succeeded stunningly well.

    Over the last two months in Croatia we saw a "no-campaign" election in Croatia for EU parliament representatives. There was no campaigning and no debate on issues and programs for EU parliamentarians. The general public was ignored.

  5. KISS: The strategy for economic success

    Economists with PhDs need to show off how smart they are (and justify all the years in school) by developing complex models for economic progress. Common sense tells us that the simpler solution for any problem is usually the better solution. KISS for the economy.
